Restaurants

Restaurants in the center of Morzine :

Le Colibri. To drink a good hot chocolate after skiing or for a dinner, this is the ideal place with quality dishes and a neat decoration.
La Grange. A top-notch welcome and a menu that smells of specialties, all in a warm and mountainous setting.
La Chaudanne. A little outside the village center (but not far from the chalet), la Chaudanne offers refined cuisine ; don't forget to have a look at the wine bar in the basement

Walks

Montriond lake : In Montriond, direction Montriond lake. Walks, swimming area, canoe, ideal for picnics. Free parking.
Ratti . Head towards the village of Côté d'Arbroz ; cross the village.. Departure of a nice walk (summer or winter) towards Col de Ratti.
Lac des Mines d'or . Center of Morzine, take the direction of the Manche valley, then the Mines d'Or lake. Ideal for picnics and walks. Departure for the Col de Cou walk. In winter, departure from the bottom of the valley then departure on foot or cross-country skiing
Mount Caly. Go to Les Gets ; at the exit of Les Gets take direction Mont Caly . Magnificent point of view on Mont Blanc. Ideal for strolls and picnics. In winter, park at the foot of the road then start on foot or cross-country skiing (15 minutes) Restaurant les Chevrelles
(Summer only) Brochaux waterfall . At Montriond lake, take the direction of Les Lindarets ; park your car in Les Lindarets. Leave on foot towards the Brochaux waterfall (about 20 minutes' walk).
(Summer only) Lac de Joux Plane / La Bourgeoise. In Morzine on Joux Plane road, at the roundabout take Col de Joux Plane and continue to the lake. Departure of the Bourgeoise walk (walk accessible with children)

- For lift passes, you can choose the Pleney + Les Gets lift pass or the Portes du Soleil lift pass (12 resorts between France and Switzerland). We recommend choosing the Portes du Soleil lift pass if you are good skiers and want to explore the different resorts. If you have young children or are a beginner, the Pleney Morzine lift pass is sufficient.
